Mark is an
International Irish event rider. He is one of Irelands most
promising and talented riders.
He has already had
many successes, winning Bronze medals at junior and young rider
levels. He has represented Ireland at senior level, competing in
the 1997 European Championships and the 1998 World Equestrian
Games.
In 1999 Mark moved to
the UK to be based with Tanya.
Mark is now competing
internationally at both Eventing and Showjumping. In 2002 he was best of the Irish at
Burghley coming 26th, and was 3rd in a Grand Prix Showjumping class
at Essex.
In 2003 Mark overcome
a broken ankle in the Spring to finish 17th at
Punchestown European Championships, second of the Irish, and he finished second in the Eventers Grand Prix at
Hickstead Royal
International.
In 2004 Mark finished
21st at the Olympic Games in Athens, riding Drunken Disorderley.
They were best of the Irish. The pair also finished 15th at
Burghley.

Tanya started
competing whilst in the Cambridge Pony Club, representing them at
Burghley and Hickstead. She then progressed to seniors, at which level
she has already had many successes, being placed at most of the
British and many Continental International 3 day events.
Tanya was long listed
for the Sydney Olympics with Drunken Disorderly.
She was off the road
in 2002 with a badly broken arm, but following 2 operations she
returned to riding.
In 2003 Tanya returned
to competition riding, having given the ride on Drunken
Disorderly to Mark whilst she was off injured. Tanya concentrated
on the young horses and successfully competed at 1 & 2 Star Horse
Trials and top level Show Jumping.
In 2004 Tanya
continued to bring on some of the less experienced horses,
finishing the season with a 4th place at Weston Park CCI* on Rich
Edward.
Best Result: Winning
the prestigious Le Lion D'Angers 2* 3 Day Event in France.
