Diary January

Lauren in the USA with her parents for Christmas arrived back in the UK for 1 day before she headed off to France skiing with a group of Young Riders, it was going to be messy!
Luckily / Unluckily depending on who you were, there were only 2 injuries, Tanya Buckingham tore the ligaments in her knee on the first day - which must have been awful, and *** had cut the tendon in his hand. By the time i wrote the diary - (March!) they are both back on a horse, but a long lay off.

Mark after a sequence of blunders managed had the plaster off his foot.
Firstly we left early to avoid the rush hour to Leicester hospital, where Mark was told his appointment had been changed to Loughborough. So we came back to Loughborough (only 15 mins from home) queued at the  walk in centre to find out the appointment was actually at a different hospital. - when we finally arrived at the correct place he was in and out in 10 minutes, - they did not even X ray it, we could have done that at home!

We did not give Mark much time to break in gently, the next day we went hunting.

Wanda Webb one of our students from Wyoming was staying with us for a week. The weather was with us and, we managed to to get out twice in the week.

Mark & Wanda taken from Felix (hence the ears!)

With a lot of help from Chad (our new working student) who made a brilliant job making the saddle brackets and saddle horse we finally moved into our new tack room, - pure luxury, heated, hot water, and close to the horses!
