Mark has produced Flicka from a 5 year old, and by 6 years old she made her first championship apearance and represented Ireland at Le Lion D'Angers Young Horse Championships, where she jumped double clear, and was selected again the following year, before making a successful step up to advanced/ CIC3* the following year.
Last year Flicka has continued her success placing in the top 6 in all but one of her events, including Saumur CCI*** in France; With the one other result being a credible 13th place in the very competitive CIC***8/9YO class at Blenheim Palace.
In 2016 it was a great honour for Flicka and Mark to be selected to compete in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, where they put in a very impressive performance for the team, finishing just outside the top 30. There is sure to be more to come from this impressive mare.

Mark got the ride on JJ in August of 2014 and after only one intermediate run together, they completed Blenheim Palace CIC*** 8/9yo jumping clear XC.
He started off 2015 well with a win in the intermediate at Lincoln and also jumped round his first CCI3* clear XC at Bramham. He then went on to jump another fantastic clear XC around Blenheim Palace CCI***.
In 2016 JJ contested his first CCI**** at the prestigious Burghley Horse Trials, and put in a very solid performance, particularly showing his class on the XC to jump one of the few clear rounds of the day.

Mark and Tanya found Ronan in 2011 for his owner, Algy, to hunt. Ronan has an amazing brain, and not only has he proven to be a fantastic hunter, he has taken to eventing with Mark, placing 2nd at his first intermediate in 2013.
Ronan back competing again this year following time off last year due to injury. He has had a good year and finished the season on a high with a win in the Intermediate at Oasby.
After spending some time off after suffering an injury Ronan was back competing at the end of 2015. In 2016 he contested his first CIC** at Rockingham placing 25th after jumping double clear. As well as many successful runs at Intermediate, Ronan ended the season on a high jumping clear XC around his first CCI** at Osberton.

Step In Time II
16hh Grey Gelding by Step Together
Owned by Johnny Kyle (Mark's Dad)
Johnny (Mark's Dad) bred 'Jonny', and he was pretty much wild, until he was 4 when he proved a very difficult horse to break-in. He came to the UK in the Autumn of 2003 and eventually he gave in to the idea of being ridden.
Jonny has been successfully competed up through the grades, having jumped double clear at Burghley and Badminton and represented Ireland at World Equestrian Games in Kentucky. Now he mostly just comes out of semi-retiremement for special events like Belton and Chatsworth!
Jonny started his first season hunting in 2015 as Mark took on a new role as Field Master with the Quorn. He seems to enjoy being able to do the XC without having to do the dressage first!

In 2014 Bridget stepped up to advanced/ CIC3*, jumping a clear XC at Blair CIC3* and ending the season on a high with 4th in the advanced at Allerton.
In 2015 Bridget had top 10 placings in all of her Intermediate and Advanced classes, as well as tackling Tattersalls in Ireland and coming away with a very respectable 14th place.
2016 was a slightly quieter year for Bridget, however she still managed several successful runs at Intermediate.

Sparky started off his first season very well with a win in the BE100Open at Great Witchingham, before jumping round some novices towards the end of the year.
In 2016 Sparky continued his good form at novice, before contesting his first CCI* where he put in a very good performance and jumped clear XC in his first experience of an international competition.

Otto started eventing in 2008. From being an unruly hunter, he took to eventing, being placed most times out. He went from pre-novice to intermediate very quickly, placing 3rd at Burgie 1*. He then moved successfully up to the top level, just missing out on a chance to compete at the 2013 Championships due to injury.
Otto came back to competing in 2015 after having time off for injury, and has been competed for the first time by his owner Howard, giving him a great ride. He spent 2016 popping round some novices with Mark, as well as doing some more events with Howard.
