Diary May Week 1

We always feel we are playing catch up when we have been away and this week was no exception. It did not hep that Tanya managed to catch a stinking cold, everyone else is dreading catching it and dosing up with

Tuesday 3 more came in, 2 for schooling the other horse was Kevin, Mark jumped and Evented Kevin before we sold him a couple of years ago to a teenager who is now doing Junior Regional Novice so it was nice to have him back in the yard.

Mark went jumping to Keysoe (The College EC) on Wednesday, he had a good day, with Molly coming second in the novice and Kevin winning the 1.10m & 1.15m

With so much to do at the yard we did not get down to watch Badminton, and had to be content with watching the TV coverage on Saturday night when we returned from Keysoe HT.

The yard had a good day at Keysoe HT on Saturday, with Willow jumping double clear to win his first Novice. Tanya had a good day with Frilly she jumped double clear & won the PN.
Tanya also had Storm in the novice, he did a good dressage, one down SJ then Tanya jumped him round half the XC - (the ground was hard and he was flying to the US next week so we did not want to break him!)
He is such fun to ride he will be missed when he goes.

Tanya (TIG) had a good dressage, then unfortunately had the last SJ down to finish 2nd in her PN section.
Paul our Czech working student had a bad day, he forgot his dressage 3 times! the had a couple of SJ down (not a good day) he did go on to jump a lovely clear XC.

Sunday, Tanya took Lauren & TIG to Osberton to ride Louie and Delphi respectively in the under 21 class. Tig had a very good day with a 34 dressage one down jumping and a very good XC to finish 4th.
Lauren did a good test clear SJ but the had a couple of run out on angled hedges to spoil an otherwise good XC round.
